This just in: Diotima on What Made Sorcery of Hekate Different + A Fast Action Field Report
There are five days left till the start of Sorcery of Hekate and I just got two e-mails that I HAVE to share.
The first is from Diotima at Uraniaswell.com
“You asked what made the Hekate class different:
1) I have never before taken a class that was focused on a single deity for seven solid months. There were short classes about a deity, but more often it was about a pantheon. All my in-depth interactions with gods have been based in my own research, personal gnosis, and ideas and techniques picked up from various teachings.
2) This was the first time that I’ve worked a strongly visualized, ritualized, energetic exchange with a deity that is regular, and initiated by me (mantric chain work). Previously, while I might request energy blendings, it was a request that was granted — or not — and initiated by the deity. Having this clear practice was helpful in several ways, particularly in breaking through some persistent energetic blockages.
3) The weaving of the overall working with the entire cast — the Guardians, the Serpent, the Triplicities, the hordes, etc. — was very empowering. It was like having an entire troupe working with me, but without the usual interpersonal/communication issues of a ritual group. 🙂 Everyone knew their part and acknowledged Her as the director.
4) I sensed a clear egregore for the group, which seems strong and supportive without being “sticky” (my term for a variety of at best demanding, at worst unhealthy group egregore situations). I found its strength kind of surprising, given that the group is large, widespread, virtual, and highly varied in our magical practices.
A Fast Action Field report
The second is a field report from Tania Dakka at Bad Ass Digital Ink detailing a quick turn-around on her petition.
“Soooo.
Something happened today.
And I think I did it right LOL
Bringing a petition to Hekate for money:
1. Entered the mandala completely focused for like only the second time. (It’s very hard, but I’m trying to learn that)
2. I petitioned Hekate for a sum of money and called on the Karitis this time. Promising a supper if I can get it today. (Not the best practice, I know).
3. I asked for a little bit more than I needed. But THEN I said “man, I’d do the supper for half of that” – almost in my head / might have been in my head.
4. I did 100/10 and like 5 Serpent mantras.
When I left the mandala – not like an hour later, an invoice was paid.
Another half hour later, another invoice was paid.
I had a call with a very good fit, a designer who often has clients who need my work, and we jived very well.
And then, I prospected with a woman that I know I’ll be a good fit for, but who wants to consider the options.
And THEN, another client asked for HER invoice.
All-in-all, I made the half that I needed. IN ONE DAY. Hell, I made it in a matter of hours. I am beyond flabbergasted.
Jason, I have to say, I happened to listen to Q&A 12 this morning and you said something about people giving away sovereignty, and some gear in me clicked, I think. The mandala was even better than the last time you made something click for me. Thank you!
