Through my teens and twenties I didn’t pay much attention to money. I considered it nonspiritual. The authors I read and occult mentors I had were mostly of the hippie generation that fused a strong anti-materialism into their teachings. While I was writing books and doing magic I was also drifting from dead-end job to dead-end job, each less fulfilling than the last. The money magic I did then always worked. It fixed problems as they arose and kept the status quo… The problem is that being in my mid-30’s with kids on the way. the “Gen X Slacker” lifestyle was not cutting it anymore.
Sitting in a paint store that was about to go out of business I wrote a plan down in a notebook that would guide the next 10 years:
- I swore that I would free myself from the need for a day job.
- After that I would free my wife from hers.
- Then we would move someplace we loved.
- Finally I would be making 10 times what I was making at that moment.
I am 47 now and I have ticked off EVERY BOX ON THAT LIST.
The same magic that was successful in averting disaster and holding the status quo back then, helped me make all these changes and I expect will help me achieve the goals on my new list. The difference is in how I applied the magic using rules that I have distilled into the 10 Laws of Financial Transformation Sorcery.
