New Agrippa Translation and Scarlet Imprint Interviews
I am pushing my book pretty hard lately, but I also like to push other stuff that is really cool, and there are two things this week that are REALLY cool.
First is the new translation of Agrippa’s First Book of Occult Philosophy by Eric Purdue. This is going to be great because while Tyson’s version is quite readable, there are details that really do need a fine point put on them. Also, lets face it, these are three books that you really want to have in three nice hardcover editions. At the moment, the price is pretty hard to beat, so head over to Chris Warnock and buy a copy ASAP. Not only are you getting a great volume, but you are supporting the work of translating the next two volumes.
Second is the new edition Crossroads from Scarlett Imprint. This is a collection of authors writing on the intersection of western magic and the ATR’s. A lot of other people are posting details on this, so you can read more about it all over the place. What I wanted to point out are two audio interviews on Deeper Down the Rabbit Hole. The first is with the owners of Scarlett Imprint peter Gray and Alkistis Dimech, on their work in publishing and magic. The second is an interview with Nicholaj De Mattos Frisvold, who is doing unbelievably good stuff. Years ago a Palo Priest shared some initiates only info with me, stuff that I never saw in print UNTIL his book on Palo came out.
