A Controversial Jupiter Spell

There is a spell I have used several times and it always rewards big. I hesitate to write about it because, well, its easy to misunderstand and abuse.
Still, its a pretty baller bit of magic so…. fuck it.
Identify something you want but is just beyond what you can afford. Some luxury that other people in a higher income bracket can get but you can’t. Buy it. Punch a hole in your budget. If you can do it during the day and hour of Jupiter or Mercury, then all the better!
That night go to Jupiter or another wealth deity you have a relationship with. For our purposes we will go with Jupiter.
IOVIS OPTIMUS MAXIMUS!
O Supreme Sovereign
O Gracious Governor
Whose laughter unleashes lightning and life itself!
Who bestows bounty both boundless and blessed!
Hail to you who is merciful in magnanimity!
I, your dutiful servant have paid you homage on many occasions.
Yet my finances fall short!
I live as so many others around me are able to live
Confident in your support!
Yet my coffers are running low!
Will you let your servant live in squalor while other live in abundance?
Will you invocations go unanswered or will you fill this deficit and balance the budget?>
Enhance my empire,
Open opportunity,
Activate my angels,
Protect me from the profane,
Favor me with fortune,
And grant me your grace.
Hail Jove!
Annoint a Candle to Jove and perhaps to the four wisdom goddesses. Repeat the invocation for four nights. Once each night.
On the surface this seems like being a petulant child then complaining to daddy about what you can’t afford. In reality it’s sympathetic magic.
Not all magical actions happen in a circle or on an altar. The purchase is the sympathetic magic. Twofold in fact:
1. You are creating a vacuum to be filled and inviting a power to fill it.
2. You are adding to your life the kind of thing you want to be able to afford but cannot. Plus you actually get the cool thing you want. Can’t say that about iron fillings on a loadstone.
There is another mechanic at work here, that I have talked about in the past: The Set Point.
The set point is the point of normalcy for you. Whatever that is. When the set point is threatened, our magic seems to carry a bit of extra weight. This is why some people report that when they are threatened with an emergency their spells work fast and true, but when they want something beyond their status quo they get lackluster results. In this case we are upsetting the status quo with the purchase but also using the idea that our set point should be higher. Many others can afford this luxury, why not you?
The trick of course is to not REALLY blow the budget. Don’t put your overall well being at risk. If you wind up skipping a meal or something thats fine, but don’t buy a car and not be able to pay rent. Got it?
I want to say again: this spell does not work better if the purchase is large or incredibly disruptive. Do not put yourself at serious risk.
Also don’t make anyone else pay this. If your spouse or kids are depending on that money for something, don’t spend it on this spell.
I did this same spell about 12 years ago using White Dzambhala instead of Jupiter and you know what? Worked like a fucking charm. You wouldn’t think it would because of all the Buddhist focus on enlightenment and such, but it worked like a fucking charm. Which, I guess it was. Use your Sadhana instead of the invocation, add some of the same words after the root mantra, and you are good to go.
Recently I found that this spell doesn’t need to be worked deliberately. Something came up accidentally and wound up costing WAY more money than I thought it would and it stressed the finances more than I like. I followed it up with the spell and you know what? Unexpected boon snapped into place to fill the gap of the unexpected expense. Yay me but could be Yay too. Never let a crisis go it waste.
