Cyprian Feast Day
Friday was St Cyprians Day, which led into a weekend packed with magic, a night at the theater, and family time so I have not been able to report until today.
The Cyprian Days were extremely enlightening. Last year Cyprian surprised me as his teachings were all about Jesus and the place my role as Wandering Bishop should hold in my practice. This year he surprised me again by hearkening back to an experience I had with Lucifer in 2006, and how to cross and integrate the chthonic-ouranic divide in a way that is fundamentally respectful to both.
I really try not to be a mouthpiece for spirits. I tend not to find inspiration when others go it, and pretty much can’t think of anything more egotistical. Yet, just like last year there is a message that he told me to convey. Just please note I am not claiming to be his voice, prophet, or any other such special and unique thing. I am a Sorcerer who has an audience, and that is all. That said here it goes:
“To those who I have not reached out to with signs and omens, I have received your offerings and blessed you in turn, but your work lies elsewhere. Be not discouraged for it means your house is already full with patrons and helpers. I am not a Saint for all people but I shall help open the door to other paths.”
“To those who I have reached out to, and given signs – do not abandon me because my feast days are over. Honor me every Saturday with bread and wine, myrrh and frankincense. Keep my image and name on your lips and I shall keep yours on mine. I will quicken and the angels you call upon. I will ennoble the demons you conjure. I shall open the gates to your ancestors. I will teach you the benefits of the Mass and the Sabbat, of Heaven and Hades. I stand at the mouth of the cavern in the crossroads – the place where all things meet.”
Lastly, one of my Cyprian contacts has told me to share the oil that they taught me.
Use olive not palm as your carrier oil.
Add equal parts:
sunflower oil (3 drops)
myrrh
calamus
cypress
orris root
cinnamon
cedarwood
frankincense
gold chloride
