Hekate Protects Women
This post breaks a rule of mine: I never bring any kind of political message into what I write and teach. If you have taken a class with me you know that even the discussion of it is banned in the groups. I am also don’t attempt to teach on women’s mysteries or women’s issues – women do a great job on that.
But, yesterday I sent out a ritual for gaining a sign from Hekate. Last night in meditation the powers that be kept nudging me how it could be easily altered to protect women who are facing some of the drakonian new laws being passed by states, some of which go so far as to make children carry their rapists baby to term. When I went to sleep last night I had a vision of Iphagenia being transformed into Hekate before she was sacrificed. Despite my rules, I feel like I can’t be a teacher on Hekate and remain silent on these things.

Repeat the following mantra chain as many times as possible. 100 times minimum. 1000 or 10,000 in times of distress and danger.

When you feel that the presence of Hekate has been evoked and stabilized into your sphere through the call and the mantra, you can move on to the offerings.
Your offering for this rite can be as simple as rubbing your hands together and offering the heat. If you want to do more, you can offer wine poured in the ground and that will rise to the sky. If you want to do still more you can offer an egg, covered in honey, surrounded by dandelions. After the rite you can leave it at a three way or four way crossroads.

If you have taken the course, you will know how to integrate the other spirits and features of the mandala to boldster this up, but even if you haven’t taken it, or have no intention of taking it – this is open to any women who would call upon Hekate in times of difficulty and danger.
