This talisman one is a very special one to me as it relates to one of my heart practices – a practice that I have done every day without fail for over 10 years. It is SIMHAMUKHA, the Lion Faced Dakini, who is as my Guru used to say “the Queen of the Matrikas and the Goddess of the Witches”.
Simhamukha is specifically connected with the practice of Dok-pa or reversal magic, and in this she has no equal. Her Mantra is unique in that not only does she have the root, heart, and action mantras that many Tantric beings do, but her mantras get used in different ways such as saying it in reverse to send attacks back, and breaking the mantric syllables up along the body to establish Vajra Armor on the subtle body.
In addition to this there is a red/yellow form concerned with enchanting and wealth building and a black form concerned with highly wrathful magic.
These talismans have been blessed with 10,800 repetitions of the root mantra, as well as many of the spells that she is connected with. There are only 28 of these available.
