Pictures of the Kings
I got an inquiry about purchasing the images of the four Elemental Kings in the photo above. I suppose I could prepare a set for sale, and if you want me to I will, but I would rather just tell you how I did it.
First of all, they are just high quality photo copies of the images from Shamanism and Tantra in the Himalayas. I had to re-size two of them to make them match, but they look good. In general I like statues or actual paintings for sacred art, but sometimes you have to rely on a print. On the energetic and physical levels there is an added dimension to something that has been prepared by an artist directly, but on the mental and soul levels the image is the image is the image.
On the back of the image I inscribe an OM AH and HUM Over the third eye, throat, and heart respectively. Around the Hum I encircle the mantra of each King. I do this all with Dragon Blood ink. I then pop them in frames amd I bless each one with a generic Tantric Blessing Rite, offerings of Sang (smoke) and sur (food) to the Kings and the classes of Spirits that they rule over. Each one of them has their mantra sung 1000 times.
I think when I did them I used some other fluid condensers as well, but I don’t remember exactly.
The reason I made this a post instead of just a response to the request for sale is that it illustrates the way’s in which you can cobble something cool and effective together without a large investment of money or arts and crafts skill. If you a magician, chances are your main skill is magic. So even if you have to skimp on commissioning a painting, or crafting something by hand, you can make ordinary things extraordinary by applying some materia and magica.
