The project I started in 2015 that I am most proud of is my six month TAKE BACK YOUR MIND training course. It just wrapped up last week, and I am very excited to offer it again so that people can start off 2016 with proper training in mindfulness and meditation that is actually designed for the type of lives that we are living.
What is different about this course than other meditation courses?
Most teachings on meditation talk about finding calm and peace. Calm and peace are important, and you will attain those for sure, but that that is a side effect, not the goal. The goal is to take back what has been stolen from you: you attention span, your self-awareness, your ability to act from will rather than habit. The Goal is to wake up: to be present, self possessed, and in command of tools and powers you did not even know you had.
Some meditation teachers make it sound like they want you to be dead from the neck down, I want you to be fully alive. Fully transcendent and fully engaged with the world at the same time.

WHAT IS IT? Every other Monday for six month you will wake up to a recording in your inbox that gives the mind-training instructions I want you to focus on. That Thursday night at 9:30pm eastern time there will be a conference call where we do a Q&A and practice session based on that material. If you cannot make the call live, you can submit questions by e-mail and will receive a recording of the call after it happens
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? Dedication. That’s it. You need to do it to get it. 20 minutes a day is the minimum that I ask of you. You do not need to practice at a particular time every day – but you do need to commit to a practice.
