The Crying of Calls 49 – Next working starts Oct 21

The facebook group “Crying of Calls 49” is now accepting new members again for a working that begins on Oct 21st. Enrollment will close on the 21st and won’t open again until the next working.

For those that do not know what I am talking about “The Crying of Calls 49” group is based around the 49 Calls given in my book Advanced Planetary Magic. The group is open to anyone that purchased the book or who was given a copy by me. The rules for the work are simple:

1. You can pick any of the several occurrences of the planetary hour on the proper day, but it MUST be done at the appropriate hour for your geographical region. You can find planetary hours calculators a bunch of places online, such as here.

2. You can perform the rite in as simple or complex a manner as you wish or have time for. If you want to establish a full temple opening doing four banishings before and after, followed by an hour of prayer before the call, that’s great. If you want to spend 12 hours chanting the vowel pair – go for it! If however you can only manage to quietly utter the call in the toilet stall at work – that is fine too.

3.You must speak the call aloud, not only in your mind.

4. You must read it more or less exactly as written. Feel free to develop your own versions for your own working, (there is for instance a set of 49 infernal calls that I have done) but for this working with the group please stick to the text.

Report back to the group with changes in life, feelings from the rite, insights into the planets, or anything else you want to talk about related to the work. Or don’t. There is no requirement to post.
