The Further Wisdom of Abrasax
Ok, I am about a month late with this review, but hey better late than never.
If you love the PGM, Hellenic or Greek magic, or magic at all for that matter, I am sure that you already have a copy of the Book of Abrasax from Nephilim Press. What you may not have is the follow up e-book: The Further Wisdom of Abrasax, by Michael Cecchetelli.
This is a short book, a total of 27 pages, but it is packed with goodies that will be immediately applicable.
First up is the Invocation of the God Aion. This is one of the best all-purpose invocations I have ever read. If you are interested in peeling back the veil that is behind reality, and even the reality of the Gods themselves, the Aion can help. This can function is a way to both pierce the veil and establish spiritual authority.
This is followed by some very specialized invocations of Selene, Kronos as lord of time (which liks him to Aion) and Isis.
These though are just the preamble to Mike presenting his system of Divination according to Greek Vowels. I myself love dice divination. I learned a couple different systems of Tibetan Mo that use Dice, and developed an elemental system with Tetrahedron dice for my Strategic Sorcery Course. Many westerners are not familiar with dice divination, and this is a great introduction to a very succinct and workable system. It has thus far proven to be quite accuerate for me. Those already working with the Greek Vowels, such as anyone experimenting with Advanced Planetary Magic, would immediately find themselves at home with this system.
For the low price of $13, you really cannot go wrong.
