Why Don’t You Believe Me!!!

This morning I had a conversation that I seem to have all the time. It goes like this….

Adeptus Ineptus: “I don’t know why stuff is not turning around for me! I summoned Salphegor using the Cyprianish Codex. I conjured the Archangel of Uranus using Trianythingus’s Conjuration of Spirits. I even used some folf magic from the Stunning Man’s Handbook…I get some small improvements, then nothing! What magic will work to make my life turn around?” 

Me: “Well, maybe the spirits and magic you are using are just fine but you need to aim it at better stuff. Lay some ground work and learn about how money/love/jobs/health works. Make a plan and use magic as part of that plan rather than the whole thing. Aim good magic at good stuff for good things to happen.”

Adeptus Ineptus: “Right right, sure that makes sense…. (silence)… so maybe I think I will try petitioning Abrasux. What is your favorite ritual for contacting Abrasux?

Make a plan without magic, then use magic to make sure it works.
